STEP 1

Firstly, roast the melon seeds in a pan. Now, take out the roasted seeds and keep them in a bowl.

STEP 2

Next, roast the coconut powder in the already used pan. Mix the roasted coconut in the melon seeds.

STEP 3

After this, roast the coriander powder in the pan. Meanwhile, mix the cardamom powder, the melon and coconut mixture.

STEP 4

Now, mix the roasted coriander powder in the melon seeds mixture. Next, caramelise the sugar in the pan. After this, mix the desi ghee in the prepared caramel.

STEP 5

Now, mix the coriander mixture in the caramel and shape it. Coat the shaped barfi’s in the remaining coriander powder mixture.

STEP 6

Garnish the prepared barfi’s with cardamom powder and almonds. Your Dhaniya Barfi is ready.
